I just wanted to write to you to thank you for taking care of Apple.
Over the past 11 years you’ve led the company with such poise, care and careful consideration and for that, I will always be thankful. The work Deirdre and yourself do has such a meaningful impact - on a global scale, and it was thrilling for me to be a small part of that.
Working with Apple Braehead will always be a highlight of my professional working career. It sits right up there adjacent to the time I worked within commercial radio, right here in Scotland. A dedicated team of hardworking people, united with a common purpose: to serve our local community. But, on a more personal level, the Braehead team helped me when I needed it most. They supported my family, friends and I through really tough life moments.
A year ago, I ended a toxic and emotionally abusive relationship and it was something that I thought I might not come back from. Whilst the shadow of that situation can still loom from time to time, I have moved forwards now with purpose and determination but only because of the support you grant your retail staff. Through my own BUPA health care and the other additional resources, I have been able to recover.
Quite literally, the support you have in place for your retail staff helped save my life. And for that, I thank you.
